Veranoa Hetet  is a master weaver renowned for her deep knowledge of Māori weaving traditions and her commitment to the continuation of customary practice. Taught by her mother, Erenora Puketapu-Hetet, and influenced by generations of Hetet weavers, Veranoa works across a range of fibre art forms including whāriki, kete, whatu kākahu, and piupiu. She is dedicated to sharing weaving knowledge and uplifting the mana of Māori fibre art through wānanga, exhibitions, and contemporary commissions.
