I am a kaiwhakairo, an engineer, and an early career researcher. I am currently pursuing a PhD focussing on the impact of process and technology in Māori wood carving. This research informs my own practice as a kaiwhakairo, where I employ a spectrum of processes and media to convey ancestral narratives.
